Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Sales Team Manager

Salary: Base pay and eligibility for company wide performance bonus, negotiable dependent upon skill set/experience.

We are looking for talented and competitive individuals that thrive in a quick sales cycle environment. The Sales Assistant sources new sales opportunities as well as works with the sales and marketing team to ensure the close of contracts for new and existing client relationships, at defined monthly goals.

Essential Functions and Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports, and ensuring integrity of data entered.
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate account representative for further development and closure.
  • Ensure customers are onboarded correctly and product is tailored to their needs through delivery of basic product training.
  • Updates managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

This position requires up to 10% travel.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years of sales or hospitality experience
  • Working knowledge of the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
